Job Description

- To assist Channel marketing manager on strategy, planning, activation & evaluation for BTL activities in respective channels:

• Establish priority channel segments for sales team to allow better investment decision.

• Take part in development of the Channel Strategies to achieve defined business objectives across all brands and channels

• Own responsibility for the development with marketing team, execution with sales team, and track performance of all sales initiated programs designed to increase presence and off take.

• Assist in management and monitoring of Trade Marketing Investments, if any, and execution standards based on sales drivers.

• Tracking on executional KPIs set by sales team to make improvement in in-store execution by introducing measures to assist Manage and evaluate ROI of trade promotion to achieve maximum returns.- To assist management of channel segments:

• Monitors trends in channels

• Based on internal/external data, detailed development of activities complying to approved channel strategies

• Assist to incorporate brand objectives into recommendations for promotional and program activities.

• Participate (under supervision of brand team) in the design of the promotional materials, in order to coordinate and supervise all promotional activities.- To work on projects which benefit different levels of commercial goals:

• Assist in managing promotion cycle plan for sales and marketing, being the gate keeper to ensure activities happen on time in full to drive performance for the company

• Assist in managing projects eg, POSM management (On-premise), Space management (Off-premise) etc which contributes to the company’s goals and improve market share, customer satisfaction.• Manage POSM stock/ Signage Stock-in-hand in depot/warehouse

• Support the sales force with relevant industry knowledge and information, provide training for relevant sales programs (e.g. sales outlet execution standards, sales folder)

• Monitoring and Analysis of competitors’ Trade Marketing activities.

- To be the bridge for sales and marketing to achieve commercial efficiency:

• Ensuring alignment across Sales and Marketing departments on sales needs and marketing initiatives, including coordination with legal and budget management whenever necessary

• Assist in development and delivery of new product launch plans

• Assist in co-ordination and communication of product, price and pack changes to the trade customers

• Secure platform and tools to enable the sales proposition

• Perform related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related fields

- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in FMCG industry

- Experience in related areas in either Trade marketing, channel development, key account management, sales and distribution management, commercial operations, strategy and planning

- Good command of English both written and spoken

- Able to work long and irregular hours as required by the Company

- Preparedness to be close to the ground to understand the dynamics of the trade and consumer needs

- Commitment and quickness in response to market demands and changes

- Mature and independent. Adaptable and quick, with a strong willingness to learn

- Personal mastery in ensuring quality work from self

- Quick to absorb and pickup new skills and functional capabilities
