Job Description

  • Assist Teachers in academic works including planning, supervising, and implementing educational programs
  • Prepare and maintain record of students’ academic progress and developing skills (physical, social, emotional and cognitive)
  • Support children with their learning and development during lessons or free-flow activities as directed by the class teacher.
  • Lead small group sessions and interventions according to teacher's planning.
  • Promote the general progress and well-being of pupils in your class/group.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour among pupils through the use of the Academy's behaviour policy

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or certificate in education
  • Experience of working with children
  • Compassionate, loving, and caring personality especially for children
  • Positive attitude and pleasant personality
  • The ability to build good relationship with children, teachers and parents
  • A basic understanding of how children develop and learn
  • Patience, flexibility, creativity, and team spirit
  • Good command of English for English Teacher Assistant position
  • Good command of Chinese (Mandarin) for Chinese Teacher Assistant position
