Job Description

  • Support  project team  facilitate Commercial Partnerships (CPs) between horticultural buyers  suppliers; analyse value-chain constraints  opportunities; strengthen value chain actors’ ability  meet buyers’ needs;  increase sales, employment generation,  investment  horticulture value chains.
  • Contribute  identifying  selecting horticulture buyers  the formation  new CPs.
  • Support  assessments  the  and implementation  interventions  selected CPs.
  • Assess capacity development  related  business  financial  among sector actors (i.e., firms, producer organizations,  others within  CPs  associated value chains).
  • Identify, assess capacity,  maintain  database  potential Service Providers (firms, universities, consultants, NGOs) that can  training  support  to CP partners.
  • Coordinate, support, (and  deliver, if necessary) capacity building  to improve  financial  business  of sector actors.
  • Work  Service Providers  develop training curricula, delivery strategies,  materials.
  • Work  sector actors  identify/develop financing strategies  pay  Service Providers  (e.g., CP partner pays, matching contributions, small grants, etc.)  an emphasis  long-term sustainability.
  • Facilitate access  finance  CP members  other sector actors.
  • Evaluate  quality  trainings  technical  delivered by Service Providers  CP partners.
  • Coordinate  support  capacity building  Service Providers  strengthen  ability  provide quality services.

Position Requirements

  • Candidates willing  be  in Battambang  highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree  business administration, finance, economics  related studies. Practical experience may  considered  lieu  education.
  • Minimum five  of experience  coordination, value-chain strengthening,  capacity building  to financial  business skills.
  • Good understanding  practices  challenges  agricultural value chains.
  • Sound knowledge  adult education  ToT principles.
  • Experience  training/coaching.
  • Ability  work collaboratively  a wide range  stakeholders  build  networks.
  • Excellent Khmer communication  (both written  spoken).
  • Good English communication  (both written  spoken).
  • Intermediate  advanced computer  (including MS Office).
