The Sales Director will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Sales function to include sales teams, developing business plans covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organisation’s presence throughout Cambodia.
As a member of the Executive team strategic planning is a key part of this job description and the Sales Director’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors
Core Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organisation’s presence throughout Thailand.
Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead nationwide direct sales personnel (soft & hard services sales team) towards the achievement of corporate sales objectives.
Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales team. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy in the sales teams planning efforts. As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and partners within the company.
Personally observe the performance of sales team on a regular basis. Provide high standards of ongoing training for the sales team to ensure they possess sufficient operational and technical knowledge to present information on the company’s products/services in an accurate and balanced manner.
Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organisation and control of sales managers and sales executives to accomplish specific objectives.
Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product/service knowledge development.
Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and providing leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
Proven track record of increasing revenue through the generation of leads.
Meet the requirement for a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high-performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Willing and able to travel as needed. Anticipated travel is about 30%.
5+yrs in leadership position in Small/Mid-size organisation with at least 3 years of experience managing a direct sales force.
Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
Strong IT skills, always being ahead of new products, services and technologies.
Salary can be negotiate (from 1000USD to 1500USD plus commission).
