Job Description

  • Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
  • Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff
  • Manage daily activities Assigns workers their duties and tasks for daily working to prescribed standards of cleanliness for Condo and Hotel, Restaurant, Health Club and other public areas as needed
  • Prepare monthly roster to HR&T department
  • Daily record and check attendance sheet for HR&T department
  • Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of inventories check-in and check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
  • Screens job applicants, hires new employees, and recommends promotions, transfers, and dismissals but under discussion with HR&T manager
  • Coordinates work activities with Receptionists, Sky bar, and other departments
  • Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment
  • Inventories stock at both Condo and Hotel to ensure adequate supplies
  • Evaluates and record the personnel of staff under supervision to HR&T manager
  • Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation at both Condo and Hotel or other places as needed
  • Selects and purchases new furnishings and supplies as needed
  • Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage during day off
  • Examines building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management
  • Attends staff meetings to discuss company policies and department’s problems
  • Issues supplies and equipment to workers
  • Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, and time cards, and prepares periodic reports.
  • To be a driver at some days as needed

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility required, with at least 2 years of management and supervisory experience.
  • Experience as driver
  • Good understanding in both Khmer and English
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skill
  • Dynamic, fast learner, and open minded person
  • Computer literate
