Job Description

  • Oversea and manage all New Business and Underwriting processes
  • Check and verify medical checkup requirement within the guideline/policy
  • Verify related documents: complete, pending, proofing, and other requirements based on memo/guideline
  • Check policies before issuance
  • Manage turnaround time of policy issuance and pending duration
  • Review all insurance contract package before delivering to customer
  • Coach and supervise junior staff to reach the team’s expectation

  • Check all POS requests and make sure that correct endorsement is issued out to the customer
  • Oversea on mispayment cases and make sure that the team is coordinate well with the sales team
  • Closely work with Sales team to minimize mispayment, lapse, or surrender cases
  • Make sure that customer service staff understand well all the company’s products and provide accurate information to the customer

  • Consider death claims and other claims (MRTA, LRTA), check debt owed to banks or cooperative before payment, and issue claim refusal letter.
  • Consider disability claims and payment (in some cases, check debt owed to banks before payment) according to the policy condition and issue claim refusal letter.
  • Prepare case for investigation and check reports from the investigation team
  • Visit the scene or do other claim investigations if necessary
  • Other tasks as assigned by HOO/COO.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor Degrees in Finance & Banking, Management, or other related fields
  • At least 3 years experiences working with financial institution or insurance industry is preferred
  • Strong leadership and willing to work under pressure
  • Computer literacy and good command in English
  • Good analytical skill, Critical thinking, detail-oriented, and result driven
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, and service minded person
  • Understand insurance policies and conditions
