Job Description

  • Assist department manager/head in providing legal review corporate governance and commercial agreement matters
  • Ensure corporate operations in compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Assist in developing and review policies and procedures for legal & compliance and fraud avoidance
  • Assist to monitoring and provide recommendations on sources of liability or legal risk
  • Communication with local government and regulatory bodies
  • Support in response to any investigation and liaison with external counsel
  • Manage regulatory filings
  • Formulate and provide compliance training to relating staff
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating institution’s non-compliance, legal and reputation risks
  • Implement and ensure daily operation compliant with laws, regulations and industrial standards issued by regulatory bodies, creditors, other stakeholders and the company’s policies and procedures
  • Act as the liaison between institutional representative and regulators and external lawyer or law firm (if any)
  • Report periodically or eventually on Compliance and other issues to head department
  • Involve in developing the environmental and social policies and procedures
  • Assist in Monitoring and executing environmental and social protection plan in conjunction with related department and business partners.
  • Other tasks assign by supervisor

Position Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor degree in Law or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years of legal experience in financial/banking/insurance industry
  • Understanding of Corporate Compliance framework, policies and standards
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and capability to build up a high performing team
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Results driven, ability to work independently
  • Relevant degree and legal qualifications
  • Be fluent in English and good knowledge of MS. Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
