Job Description

  • The Law Enforcement Assistant provides  to MPF rangers by each outpost  monitoring  evaluation  the delivery  patrolling  and advising  rangers via monthly patrolling strategic plan. The assistant  to encode SMAT  into  software  analysis  monthly based.
  • The Law Enforcement Assistant  work closely  the outpost section ranger, police ranger, community rangers,  Law Enforcement Technical Coordinator  the different places where LE  take place, including long periods  the field.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree  conservation, forestry, natural resource management, bioregional planning, environmental,  in relevant fields
  • At least 2  of practical experiences  conservation, natural resource management, forestry, biodiversity  research  in relevant  and experience acting  law enforcement assistant  work closely government rangers, Experience  working  Government officials, local communities  other conservation stakeholders, familiarity  the  area  local residence  be  asset, experience  working  conservation NGO  an advantage  experience  working  forestry  wildlife sector  be preferred
  • Knowledge  conservation  natural resource management issues  Cambodia, especially  related fields, knowledge  the realities  government agencies, development partners, donor institutions,  the not-for-profit sector  the  and knowledge  WWF structure, priorities  procedures  well  WWF's ecoregional approach  conservation  preferable  advanced level  English  required
  • Communications, monitoring, SMART  analysis  management,  negotiation, Networking  teamwork, understandable  written  spoken English  proficiency  using computer  MS Office ;Excel  PowerPoint
