Job Description

  • Lead  livelihood strategy team  the  provider  implement livelihood strategy  action plan that supports  overall BCC Project  deliver  outcomes defined  the  and monitoring framework (DMF),  a particular focus  the  of livelihood improvements  a strategic element  developing effective management systems  the CPAs  CFs. Livelihood Program success  be defined  terms  delivering benefits  households targeted  changing  behaviour  support CPA  CF management that result  actual behaviour changes
  • Develop  implement  capacity strengthening program. The LPL shall implement  awareness  for  communities,  to  extent possible, engage relevant staff  FA  MOE  the development  delivery  the capacity strengthening program
  • Monitor  Livelihoods Program effectiveness,  contribute  the CPA  CF management strategic planning  BCCP reporting procedures
  • Develop annual Livelihoods  plan,  reviews  progress reporting
  • Implement  livelihood strategy

Position Requirements

  • Hold  post graduate degree preferred  conservation, rural development, small enterprise development,  agricultural economics.
  • Minimum 10  work experience  in  type  outputs specified below,  must have direct experience  in livelihood programs, especially  development  livelihood strategies  planning,  building  processes  implementation,  supporting capacity development.
  • Must have  least 7  of experience  conservation  livelihoods,  livelihood improvement  the context  sustainable forest management.
  • Experience  Cambodia  neighboring GMS countries  an advantage; however emphasis  be placed  a demonstrable track record  the development  livelihood programs that  part  a wider natural resource management strategy.
